About Us
Based in Brooklyn, NY, with our two cats, Crusty and Neve, we are an everyday kind of couple from different cultures that has shaped how we’ve lived and view the world. Sean is a first generation immigrant from Barbados who was raised in Long Island and love language is physical touch. Christina was born in the Bronx, spent her teenage years in South Carolina, and love language is quality time. We both work full time but make time for travel as much as possible. Christina works in public health and Sean works in web design.
Our first trip together…
was a cruise to the Bahamas for Christina’s birthday just 2 months into dating in 2016. When we first started dating, Christina made it clear traveling was important to her. She had already traveled to 8 countries and wanted to go to any country that would allow her entry. Sean was no stranger to travel either, having spent summers in Barbados and a trip through Europe. So traveling together was an easy yes.
Roaming the World with You was born…
Two months after our wedding, one night in bed, as an idea. We were talking about the first black woman to travel to all the UN recognized countries in the world and we wondered if there was ever a couple who has done the same thing. Now, we aren’t saying we will be that couple but it sparked an idea that is now a blog, an Instagram, a Tiktok and a Youtube channel.
We were already posting our travels on Christina’s Youtube page as a way to go back and reminisce on our travels so being more intentional about it just seemed natural.
